Kevin has fussed at me because I never blog anymore.  So here I am finally making some time to update you people on my life and such.  The thing is I never really have anything clever to talk about and if I sit and think of stuff to talk about yall probably wouldn’t like it. Needless to say it would be more interesting than Kevin’ blog ( just kidding honey). But seriously, if your like me you really don’t understand half the stuff he talks about in his blog.  Proud of you anyway babe!

 So life is starting to slow down since we finally got moved into our new house. I only have like four boxes left to unpack and I’ll be done. I want to take this opportunity to thank my little bro who helped us sooooo much with the move. We really appreciated it and wouldn’t have been able to do it without you. THANKS!!

After spending a week in the hospital my Dad is home and in good health. Now I just hope we can keep him that way for awhile.  The doctor was able to get him on a medicine regiment that really seems to be working well.  Thank you to everyone who was there for us during his hospital stay b/c he had us really scared.

Kevin has finally moved to dayshift now and I’m loving it. He’s home every night now so we can spend more time together and start to just enjoy life together again. Morgan is enjoying having him home too. It has taken some stress off of me too so I’m much happier now that I can relax a bit more.

So life is going great and I won’t gush too much cause I don’t want to make anyone sick. Now if I can just pass my midterm exam I have today I’ll be able to relax and enjoy my spring break next week.

I am so happy that we are finally moving into a new house.  Its not as big as Kevin would like but I think it will work perfectly. It has a fenced back yard so I can put Cookie outside. She is just getting on my last nerve and maybe Doby will behave better too without her around.  Kevin and I are looking for some new living room furniture to go with the house.  I’ll probably start doing some antique shopping this weekend and see what great finds I can come out with.  I know I need to find a nice painting to go in my living room.  I’m tired of the one I have. I’m so looking forward to this move.  Last year was a really rough year on us and I just want a fresh start and this is perfect. 

So I hope everyones new year is going well so far. Make any resolutions?  My resolution this year is to be more organized at home. I am very organized at the office but I just have a problem with it at home.  I’m gonna start working on that when we move.  I’m going to by those storage units in all different sizes and a label maker and everything is going to have a place this time.  This will be a hard task to undertake in Kevin’s office, which is the most unorganized room in my whole house.  But I’m gonna try my hardest and hope Kevin will help me keep it that way.  Anyway, thats the only resolution I have made.  Gotta keep it simple so hopefully I can accomplish it.  Alot of people make resolutions concerning relationships and stuff but I don’t understand that.  Resolutions like to be a better friend, listen better, communicate better blah blah blah.  I think thats stuff you should strive to do anyway. Spending more time with the family……..again, something you should strive for anyway. You may not agree, but I just don’t think those count as resolutions. Feel free to argue with me if you want, that way I’ll actually have comments on my page :P. 

Anywho, I’m at work so I think I’ve blogged enough right now. I’ll start trying to check in on a regular basis. Hey, maybe that can be another resolution. To blog more. But I’ll only do it if you people actually start participating too. Same thing goes for the message boards on the other site.

So Kevin has been fussing at me because I haven’t blogged in so long. Sorry folks!  I know everyone understands how hectic the holidays are and I just haven’t had the time. I’m back at work now instead of laying around on my butt and Morgan is going back to school on Thursday so things are getting back to normal. I went to Louisianna after Christmas to visit with my family down there. I really enjoyed everything but the drive down there and back.  My brother decided to go down before me and spend xmas with the bunch down there, leaving me to answer the endless questions from Morgan.  Thanks to the drowsy effects of cough medicine, I was able to get about an hour of peace during the 5 1/2 hour drive. Once down there I was able to visit my mom and stepdad, grandparents, some aunts and uncles, several cousins and ofcourse my little brother and sister.  The only part of the trip I did not enjoy was sharing the bed with Rachel (sister) and Morgan. I would have to move Morgan over a few times during the night so I could roll over or I would wake up from Rachel’s coughing. Next time I’m just gonna kick Austin (brother) out of his bed so I can sleep all by myself :). I made it back in one piece though with about 2 hours of peace thanks again to the drowsy effects of cough medicine :). 

We had an uneventful New Years. Morgan slept, I watched tv, and Kevin read a book. At midnight I watched the replay of the ball drop in New York, wished Kevin a Happy New Year and went to sleep. We are sooooo boring!  So now I’m back at work and you are caught up. Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and I hope your new year is getting off to a great start. Love you, later!

 

 

So, after all the Myspace drama I am now back on my own site.  No more myspace.  I still have facebook but its just not as much fun, so you people can start checking in with me here again.

The semester is finally over and I ended it with an A.  Very happy about that and now I have Biology to look forward to next semester.  So let me know if your any good at the Biology thing and I may be enlisting your help next semester :).

I have a busy week ahead but my winter break is almost here.  My last day of work is next wednesday.  I have 2 holiday parties this week to cook for and then I have my own holiday party at the office next monday to cook for.  I get really domestic this time of year and practically live in my kitchen cooking goodies.  Once it wears off Kevin will go back to complaining about my cooking :P.   I honestly believe the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach.

So, I joined Facebook this week.  Its pretty cool……..not as cool as Myspace but it will do.  I have to get stuff ready for my jewelry party tomorrow night. Rhiannon, you still need to book a show with me, I’m not letting you get out of it.  You can do it an Lin-Lin’s and let her pick out a free piece or two, you know, for letting you have the party there.  Girl, you know it will be fun.  I’m soooooo entertaining!!

This has been a pretty uneventful week and with the exception of the jewelry party I’m looking forward to an uneventful weekend.  Chill out, watch tv,  and have a little makeover with Morgan.  Those are fun.  As soon as Kevin gets off his butt and downloads pictures from my camera, I’ll have some cute pictures of Morgan from Halloween to post.  She was a ghost this year.  So cute!

So, its Friday which is great…..but this week has been one hell of a roller coaster.  I’m staying real busy at work and have a ton of things on my mind.  I only have a few more weeks until class is over and I haven’t even started on my final report which is going to be my final exam.  I have to get registered for class next semester, which I have decided to go ahead and get my biology out of the way.  I’m scared to take it.

Morgan and I will be in the Grove in the morning then have to go to Rhiannon’s for Laci’s Bday party.  Then tomorrow night Kevin and I are suppose to go out and I am going to be on my best behavior because I’ve been kind of difficult to deal with this week.  I’ve had a setback from my therapy sessions………..I felt really bad but I just couldn’t ignore the little thoughts in my head.  I’ve been doing so great and then to have a bad day just really sucks.  I’ve come to see that as more time passes the wounds heal even more and the setbacks are less and less.  Maybe this one will be the last.  OK, I better stop rambling b/c yall don’t want to hear all this.  Its depressing and it sucks!!  So on to something better……..

OK nevermind its just been a bad week.  I’m gonna go get some rest and hope to have a good day tomorrow.  Maybe since I don’t have to work I’ll feel better.  What would make my week is if I could just see Morgan cheer then tomorrow night, have a nice evening with my husband.

Friday is here and I’m so happy.  I just love Fridays around here cause everyone is laid back and just in an all around good mood.  The only thing that could make it better was if it was payday too!!  Morgan is spending the weekend at my Dad’s and I’m looking forward to a relaxing Friday night all by myself with nothing to do but watch tv and play on my new laptop :P.

Kevin and I are suppose to go look at houses in Collierville this weekend and I”m also gonna start sending my resume out.  I guess I could work on the resume thing tonight……….with my new LAPTOP!  Can you tell I’m happy about my new toy or what?! OOOHHHHH and I can play Life and Wheel of Fortune too!!  I’m getting all excited…………..

OK, I really am getting old.  Oh well.  I don’t care, it’s all about the little things in life.

Yay!!  Know I’m gonna be so lazy its not even funny.  Right now Kevin and I are sitting in front of the tv on our laptops being old geeks!  LOL!  I’m loving it.  Now all I need is a little refrigerator by the bed and I never have to leave my room.  Now when I need to do some stuff on the computer I won’t have to miss any of my shows or go sit at my desk.  I sit at a desk all day so I don’t want to do it when i get home.
